Nestled in the heart of downtown Toronto, Nathan Phillips Square is the city’s premier gathering place, welcoming over 1.5 million visitors each year. Designed by architect Viljo Revell and landscape architect Richard Strong, the square opened in 1965 and spans an impressive 4.85 hectares (12 acres), making it the largest city square in Canada.
