Karen Pascual Binaday serves as the Executive Vice President of the Philippine Independence Day Council (PIDC) in Toronto. A longtime community volunteer and leader, she has played an active role in organizing major Filipino cultural events in the Greater Toronto Area, including the annual Mabuhay Philippines Festival at Nathan Phillips Square.

Karen has held several leadership roles within PIDC over the years, including previously serving as President of the organization. Through her work with the council, she has helped bring together Filipino-Canadian organizations, artists, businesses, and community leaders to celebrate and promote Philippine heritage, culture, and unity within Canada’s multicultural landscape.

Known for her dedication to community service, Karen continues to support initiatives that highlight Filipino culture, strengthen community connections, and help ensure the continued success of PIDC programs and events.
