PIDC FUNDRAISING GALA DINNER

An evening showcasing Filipino culinary excellence, featuring seven distinguished Filipino chefs from
Toronto and the United States, including Michelin-recognized talent. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Apl de Ap Foundation.

The Apl.de.Ap Foundation, International (APLFI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to advancing opportunities for youth in need. Founded in 2011 in the Philippines by Allan Pineda Lindo, better known as Grammy award-winning artist Apl.de.Ap of the Black Eyed Peas, the Foundation has since broadened its reach globally.

Since its establishment, APLFI has delivered resources and support to young people worldwide, fostering creativity and facilitating the construction of classrooms, computer laboratories, and music/recording studios from Los Angeles to Angeles City, Pampanga in the Philippines.

Currently, the Foundation’s initiatives are centered on expanding access to education, the arts, and innovation for BIPOC youth, with the aim of cultivating a more inclusive, creative, and sustainable future.

APLFI remains dedicated to empowering youth, particularly those from underrepresented communities, by focusing on education and development in creative arts, music, technology, and related fields.

Through the adoption of innovative strategies in arts and technology, and leveraging partnerships within the entertainment and business sectors, APLFI seeks to provide meaningful opportunities for young individuals who demonstrate creativity, passion, and the aspiration to make a positive impact.
