Q: What time will the festival start/end?
A: The festival starts at 10 am on both Saturday and Sunday but ends at 11 pm on Saturday and 9 pm on Sunday.

Q: Who is performing at this year’s Mabuhay Festival?
A: Check out our full lineup on the Entertainment Schedule for Saturday, August 23 and Sunday, August 24.

Q: Is there alcohol being served at the Festival?
A: Yes, there is a lounge called Sari not Sari Lounge, located at the corner of Queen St. and Bay that will be serving alcohol starting at 3 pm till 10 pm on Saturday and 3 pm till 8 pm on Sunday.

Q: Is there something happening inside City Hall?
A: Yes, there is the final screening of the 48hour short fill challenge organized by the SINÉ Institute. It will be held from 12 noon till 3pm at the Council Chamber. There is also a film showing of the movie “A Will to Dream” by Patrick Alcedo. This will also be held at the Council Chamber from 4pm to 5:30 pm.

Q: Are there any unique events happening at the Festival this year?
A: Yes, there is a competition happening on Sunday, August 24 from 3 to 5 pm. Four GTA restaurants that serve lechon, will be competing for the title “People’s Choice”. To participate, purchase a ticket for $10 to be able to try the four different lechons then you can vote for your favorite one. The winner will be announced later in the day. There will also be a Skyflakes eating competition on Sunday, August 24 at 5 pm. Participants will be randomly selected that day.
